The Spring Edit

Warmer weather, getting out walking with the pram, flowering trees, and no more winter bugs!! So many things to love about spring!

The store is busy, busy, busy, and we have new stock coming at us from all angles! It's totally exciting and we love it!! Here's my pick of the spring crop.

1. Pretty Brave Sandals- All of them! 

Gah! So in love with these leather sandals from Kiwi brand Pretty Brave. Last week I caught up with the owner and designer of Pretty Brave, Natalie, she's the coolest boss babe and I pretty much love everything she does with her brands.

If I had to choose a favourite sandal I'd pick the Rio Sandal in Gold, but I'm also a big fan of the Valencia Sandal in Grey,because I think they'd go with everything. Gold goes with everything too though, doesn't it? 

2. Wilson and Frenchy- Flora Print

This is a new brand to Global Baby this season, and my fave print is the Flora print (not just because one of our team is called Flora). I loved this print as soon as I saw it, and my pick for spring is the Flora Pocket Slouch Pant, team it with a pink jumper or piece of knitwear for a totally cute springtime look!

3. Le Toy Van Sweetheart Cottage

I'm a big fan of doll houses, because I've seen the imaginative play that my four year old does with hers. I reckon she's played with it every day since the Christmas she received it, almost two years ago! This Sweetheart Cottage is new to us, and it's perfect because it comes with all the furniture. 

4. Footmuffs

OK it's getting warmer, but it's not that warm, we still think footmuffs are amazing. No more picking up the blanket that's fallen on the ground, the footmuff will keep your little one snug the whole time you're out walking with the pram. 

5. Done By Deer Activity Play Mat

Must admit that I feel a bit sad that my baby is too old for this playmat, I just love it! New in store from Danish brand Done By Deer, I'm so into the colour and the shape of this playmat.

6. Bugaboo Fox Classic Complete

The new Bugaboo Fox is one of my favourite strollers right now, lightweight, easy to use, and fully recyclable, it's pretty cool! It's also totally customisable, so you can choose the colour of the seat fabric, frame, handle grips, even the wheel grips, which is amazing, but it figuring out colours for so many components isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's why I'm trilled that Bugaboo have released the Classic Collection, a selection of complete strollers designed with an elegant, gender neutral look. 

7. Djeco Multicoloured Tent

Isn't this tent so fun? Just looking at it makes me feel happy. Pop it in a corner with some books and cushions inside and you have yourself a reading nook! 

8. Re-Play Dinnerware

We're all loving this Re-Play stuff! Made from recycled milk bottles, in loads of fun colours, and child-appropriate sizes. The divided plate is a firm favourite in our house, for after pre-school snacks, and dinner too. Re-Play is priced from $2.90- $12.90, making it great value too!

9. Wilson & Frenchy Jungle Leaf Short Sleeved Zipsuit

OK just one more from Wilson & Frenchy because I'm just loving their prints so much. This zipsuit is just the most adorable thing for spring.

10. The Lactation Station Cookies- Coconut Rough

Not strictly for spring, these Coconut Rough lactation cookies taste delicious, and they're vegan too! That gets a big thumbs up from the girls who work in the store, because although they're not lactating, they are vegans, lol! And they reckon these cookies are good :-)
