About the Creators

English text and illustrations by Kat Quin (nee Merewether) - Kat's passion for all things children's books and illustration is apparent throughout all her works to date. Gaining inspiration and critique from her own six, sparkling tamariki, her honest accounts from a birds eye view are endearing to readers of all ages.

Pānia Papa-  has devoted most of her life to the revitalisation of te reo Māori and made huge sacrifices in an effort to ensure the language flourishes for future generations. Papa is a face well-known to Māori Television audiences. She debuted for the Silver Ferns in 1990 and went on play two caps.
