About the Leather

OiOi have worked with a tannery that works exclusively with hides that would sadly otherwise go to landfill (by-product of USA food industry) and whose process is 100% traceable through Leather Working Group audits (their strict protocol focuses on energy and water usage, waste management and the control of harmful chemicals).
 

About Oioi

Started in Australia in 1997 by Lisa, a mum on maternity leave who didn’t like the ‘daggy’ nappy bags on the market, but found that using her regular handbag wasn’t that practical! Lisa was on leave from her job as a fashion buyer, so she had some knowledge of the industry, and a strong sense of style. The brand name OiOi was invented because she used to say it to get her baby’s attention!

From an initial order of 500 bags, OiOi was soon stocked in baby boutiques and department stores around the world.

In March 2020 that baby, Isabella, I decided to take a leap of faith and join OiOi.
