Pink Ribbon Morning Tea

We're excited to be holding a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea at Global Baby, all of the funds raised will go directly to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, which is a charity close to many of our hearts.

We've got lots of things planned for the morning, and our suppliers have very kindly donated some amazing prizes. Read on for details.

Our shop window will be dressed in a pink theme by the super talented Jules from Pop Roc Parties.

We all love cake, and cake maker extraordinaire Bets from Magnolia Kitchen is making a pretty pink cake for us to enjoy on the day. You can purchase a slice for $3, with the money going to charity of course.

We all love coffee right? Nespressohave come to the party and have provided us with lots of coffee pods! We'll be selling the coffee on the day for $2 (we're trying to make money for charity alright?) If coffee isn't your thing we'll also have tea for $2 a cup as well.

Lauryce Moore is making some of her Milkin' Cookies, which have ingredients chosen to help you produce more breast milk! Great for the lactating mamas, they'll be available for $3 each on the day, and of course all the money goes to NZBCF.

Children are totally welcome, we're going to make some pink play dough to entertain them a little!!

Raffle #1- We have a raffle with loads of amazing prizes in there (check out the photo below), if you can't make it on the day you can also buy tickets online. We'll draw this competition on Friday the 27th of May and notify the winner that weekend.

Raffle #2-We will be selling raffle tickets for this prize on the day. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, with all proceeds going to charity, photo coming soon!

Silent auction- Some of the prizes will be available to buy on the day, if your bid is high enough to win the silent auction. Basically how it works is the prizes will be laid out on a table, each with a sheet of paper. On the sheet of paper we'll tell you a little bit about the product, and the retail value. You write down your name, phone number, and how much you want to pay for that product, if someone wants to pay more they'll place their bid, by writing on the paper how much they want to spend and their name. At mid day, whoever has placed the highest bid gets to buy the product for that price!

We have some really good things in our silent auction, with brands like Kip&Co, Dior, The CollectiveNZ, Jellycat, Discoveroo, Schnuggle Bath and more!
