Our Top Tips for Attending The Baby Show

It's that time of year again, and we're totally excited about The Baby Show! This is our second time exhibiting, and this year our stand is going to be twice the size of last year, and just as beautiful. We've put together a list of our tips for the show, make sure you read all the way to the bottom because there's a chance for you to win some tickets!

Wear something comfy

Comfy shoes for all the walking (it's actually not THAT much walking) and comfy clothes. It's good to wear layers because sometimes it's warmer inside the ASB Showgrounds than you expect.

Bring a pen

Most stands will be running competitions and you don't want to wait around for other people to finish with the pens, take your own pen and enter those competitions at your leisure :-) This year we're kinda excited about some new technology at the show, when you enter you'll be given a QR code, and there will be ipads there for you to enter your details, then all you need to do is scan your QR code at each stand and you'll be automagically entered into their competition. Boom.

Bring cash

It's always good to have a bit of cash on you at these sort of events, right? There will be ATM's there but there will probably be queues, and most of the stands will have eftpos, but still, for the little things cash is sometimes more convenient.

Babywearing or pram?

It doesn't really matter, you can do either. The aisles are totally wide enough for strollers, and then you'll have somewhere to put your stuff, but with babywearing you'll be totally hands free. Up to you!

Food and coffee?

It's all available there, the cafe will be open and there are also little coffee kiosks. I tried to get confirmation about the exact food trucks outside but couldn't. I'm pretty sure that there were food trucks last year.

Parking

You can park in the ASB showgrounds for $10 a day (bring some cash).

Buy your tickets first

And avoid the queues. You can purchase tickets here, and if you book before midnight on Thursday you can get some of the tickets options for a little bit cheaper.

Can I bring my partner?

Lot's of people tell us that their partners are scared about going, that they'll be the only guy there. Relax guys, there are almost as many men as there are women at the show.

Can I bring my baby/ toddler/ child?

Totally!

Plan when to go

In our experience, Sunday is the quietest day. It's busiest in the morning with people who have babies and toddlers (because toddlers sleep in the afternoon), and in the afternoon there are more parents-to-be.

Opening hours:
19 - 21 August 2016
Friday - Sunday: 10am - 5pm

Come and say 'hi'

We love meeting you all! Make sure you swing by our stand, D23.

Our competitions

We've got two amazing competitions happening at the Global Baby stand (look out for us in the main hall at D23)

1. Win a Mutsy Igo Stroller, this little beauty includes the seat, frame and carry cot. All you need to do is fill out one of the entry forms on our stand, or scan your QR code at our stand. Check out the photo above of last year's lucky winners!

2. Win a $200 Global Baby gift card. This competition is over on instagram, and all you need to do is follow @globalbabynz, then take a photo of yourself with your fave Global Baby stroller and load it to instagram with the tag #winwithglobalbaby. Easy!
