Can you put a capsule onto your stroller?

Yes, you can get a capsule that will fit into your stroller (if you get one of our strollers), you'll just need some adaptors to make the whole thing work. With the addition of adaptors you can turn your stroller into a travel system, meaning that if you drive to the supermarket and the baby falls asleep in the car, you can just take the capsule straight from the car to the stroller without disturbing them. This is the perfect solution for short trips. For longer trips we always recommend that baby is lying flat, so if you were going to go for a walk with your friend, then stop for lunch, then do a little shopping on the way back to the car, your carry cot would be the better option.


Let's look at the Mutsy Igo, and all the capsules that we sell that will fit into that stroller. For all of these capsule options you would use the Musty Igo adaptors for Maxi Cosi.

This capsule will carry your child to 13kg. It meets the new higher European safety standard i-size. You can use the same base for this capsule and the toddler seat. The base is sold separately.

The BeSafe Izi Go will carry your child to 13kg. This car seat is recommended by NZ Consumer Magazine.

The Kiddy Evo Lunafix will carry your child to 13kg, in terms of cm it is one of the longest on the market, so it's a good capsule for tall babies. This capsule allows baby to lie flat, even when travelling in the car (with an isofix base).

This capsule will carry your child to 13kg, like the BeSafe Izi Modular, it's also made to the new higher European safety standard i-Size. You can use the same base for the capsule and the toddler seat (base sold separately).
