Beach Themed Nursery Inspo
We're hoping to move into our new house in the later part of this year, and I've been researching ideas for the nursery for our baby boy Sonny. I'm keen on a beachy theme, because our house is close to the beach, and I just love those blues and greys.
Here's what I'm loving right now. Some things from our store, some things from others, and a few DIY.
I'm absolutely in love with this Bombora Mural wallpaper from anewwall. This photo is by @islabayandreef.
Babyhood Lulu Cot
I can't decide whether I like the White or the Natural colour better!! White is in stock now, Natural will be back in March. Either colour would work really well with the beach theme!
Bunny Tail Wreath by @_jesssingh
I love this wreath, which Jess made herself using bunny tails and florist wire.
Auskin Sheepskin Rug- Ivory
OK it's not strictly beach theme, but this rug really adds texture to the room, and makes it feel cosy.
Kaylula Sova Cot- White
Love the oval shape of this cot, it feels quite natural and I think it'd work well in a beach-themed nursery.
I'm thinking about getting crafty and making a mobile like this one I found on Better Homes & Gardens, I've even started collecting a few shells on my travels. This is a fun activity to get our six-year-old involved with too!
Write to Me- The First Year of You Baby Journal
These journals aren't just a practical keepsake for all baby's milestones, they look pretty on the shelf too!
Kelzuki Cetacea Print
Chronicling 30 amazing whales, dolphins, and porpoises, this print is a sweet addition to the beachy nursery. It's sold unframed, and would look great either blu-tacked to the wall, or using some of these wooden poster hanging kits.
Baby Orca Book
These books are super cute, and babies and toddlers love them, poke your finger through the hole in the back of the book, to become a wiggly interactive Orca!! Back in stock soon.
Kaylula Bella Cot
Here's one last cot for consideration, though the image isn't the most exciting! The Kaylula Bella Cot features these cool perspex sides, which would be perfect in front of that fabulous wave printed wallpaper!!
Putting together a nursery really is one of the fun parts of pregnancy! Hope this blog post gave you some ideas!!

The answer depends on a few things; your family, your child's physical capabilities, and your child's size. There's no set age, but most children will move graduate from the cot between 18 months and 3.5 years.
This is a question that we hear a lot at Global Baby 'My toddler is rear-facing, but he looks so uncomfortable, is it OK to turn him forward-facing?'.
Their legs are scrunched up, and their feet are on the back seat. I wouldn't want to sit like that, would you?
